Philodendron 'Birkin' is a variegated plant with glossy deep green leaves streaked with white to yellow pinstripes. In Greek, Phileo means 'to love,' and dendron means 'tree.' Hence, it's perhaps not surprising that Philodendrons grow as epiphytes in their native habitats in the rainforests of Brazil and Paraguay. As the plant matures, white variegation develops, giving the unique Philodendron leaves rare patterns on its pointed oval leaves.
