With its vining growth habit, the Hoya Pubicalyx looks beautiful cascading from hanging baskets, climbing a trellis, or trailing from a shelf. Its resilience, drought tolerance, and rewarding blooms make it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced plant parents.
Plant Origin
Native to the Philippines.
Sunlight Requirements
Prefers bright indirect light and can tolerate some medium-light conditions. Brighter light encourages stronger growth and flowering. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight, which may scorch the leaves.
Watering Requirements
Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry, then allow excess water to drain away. Hoyas prefer well-draining soil and are sensitive to overwatering.
Is This Plant Pet-Friendly?
Yes, the Hoya Pubicalyx is considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
Arrives in a nursery grow pot.
It's a healthy plant but I was a little disappointed in the price that I ended up paying partly because of the delivery cost because sending it through the post office I guess is expensive but the plant itself had no Vines hanging over the pot it was just compact around the pot itself and I was hoping to have a little bit of vines hanging down with some leaves on it other than that packed well little slow on the delivery
